Take your Bloody Mary to a whole new level with this wood-fired twist on the original. This Bloody Maria is smoked, loaded with grilled garnishes and topped with all the fixin's for an epic wood-fired cocktail.

Ingredients

Traeger Bloody Maria Cocktail:

  • 1.5 OZ MEZCAL
  • 4 OZ Tomato Juice

Grilled Garnishes:

  • 3 SLICES BACON
  • 3 SHRIMP
  • 1 Tbsp OLIVE OIL
  • SALT AND PEPPER, TO TASTE
  • 2 stalks CELERY
  • 5 STUFFED OLIVES ON A SKEWER
  • 5 stalks ASPARAGUS
  • 1 tsp OLIVE OIL
  • SALT AND PEPPER, TO TASTE
  • LEMON AND LIME WEDGES, to garnish

  • 4 OZ Tomato Juice

Grilled Garnishes:

Preparation

For the garnishes: When ready to cook start the Traeger grill on smoke with the lid open until fire is established (4-5 minutes). Set the temperature to 450 degrees F and preheat, lid closed 15-20 minutes.

Season the shrimp and asparagus with olive oil, salt and pepper. place directly on the grill grate and cook shrimp 4 minutes per side and asparagus 5 minutes total. Place bacon slices directly on the grill grate next to asparagus and cook until fat is rendered and bacon is crispy.

For the cocktail: Fill a pint glass with ice, mezcal, and a 1:1 ratio of tomato juice and Traeger Bloody Mary Mix. Garnish and Enjoy!
